Fun, effective, and interactive exercises done in a group setting will jump start your fitness and fire up your spirit for winter activities. 12-week program. Pre-registration required.
This twice a week program will include:
- Resistance training with bands
- Discussions on nutrition, goal setting, and relaxation techniques
- Core circuits with stability balls and medicine balls
- Extended stretch sessions

For Barbers, Stylists, Estheticians, and Massage Therapists
The authors of a study published recently in the Archives of Dermatology are urging barbers, stylists, estheticians, and massage therapists to receive training to better alert clients to suspicious lesions on the neck, face, back, and scalp.
This free, educational presentation, followed by questions and answers with a dermatologist, will help you better identify suspicious conditions and lesions in need of a further look by a physician. A light dinner will be served. Pre-registration required.

Acupuncture:
Group Ear Acupuncture
Ear acupuncture, also known as auricular acupuncture, is available for the
community in a weekly group setting, with no appointments needed. The first
session is free.
What does ear acupuncture help with? This protocol was originally developed for
drug addiction, cravings, and withdrawal. More recently it has gone beyond that to
treat a wide range of issues, including: insomnia, anxiety, stress, detoxification
from any drug, chronic physical pain, migraines, menstrual cramps, general wellness, and preventive health care.
Fee: $5 per session or reduced punch cards, 5 sessions for $20 or
10 sessions for $35

Yoga:
A variety of Yoga classes are available in McCall and local communities.

Wisdom Yoga
Gentle beginner yoga with chairs. As we age we often become calmer and wiser, yet our bodies may slow and stiffen. Some of the benefits of yoga are more energy, enhanced strength, greater flexibility, and improved balance.
