Health Screenings:

Skin Cancer Screening
Regular screenings can prevent and provide early detection of skin cancer. The examinations will be conducted by local medical professionals and visiting
dermatologist Ryan Owsley, MD.

According to the American Cancer Society, melanoma and non-melanoma skin
cancers account for half of all cancers in the U.S. More than 1 million cases of highly curable basal cell or squamous cell cancers are diagnosed every year.

Life Begins in a Garden
Those who suffer from high cholesterol, heart disease, excessive weight,
or high blood pressure have probably been told by their doctor to make some
changes in their diet. This interactive class is packed with tips and ideas to
increase whole grains, fruits, and vegetables in your diet. Menu planning, food preparation, recipes, and samplings are all part of the fun.

Group Ear Acupuncture
Ear acupuncture, also known as auricular acupuncture, is available for the
community in a weekly group setting, with no appointments needed. The first
session is free.

What does ear acupuncture help with? This protocol was originally developed for
drug addiction, cravings, and withdrawal. More recently it has gone beyond that to
treat a wide range of issues, including: insomnia, anxiety, stress, detoxification
from any drug, chronic physical pain, migraines, menstrual cramps, general wellness, and preventive health care.
